In this role you will:

  • Identify, initiate, and develop high-level relationships to extend existing programs;
  • Create competitive analysis, partnership profiles, and strategies, coordinate solutions/financial models, develop marketing tools, and manage proposal development and submissions;
  • Extend and tailor strategic offerings into each of the approved business development initiatives.

Location: Toronto, with regular travel within Canada and abroad.

You possess:
  • A post-secondary degree in a business-related discipline (MBA an asset) with 7 - 10 years of experience in the government services domain, or a combination of education and experience;
  • An understanding of public sector service integration and transformation, electronic search and registration business domains, government citizen-centric service models, and the G2B & B2B service integration models
  • An appreciation for large-scale public sector modernization programs, land administration systems, spatially enabled government services a definite asset;
  • Experience with government procurement processes;

You are self-directed with a leadership style that uses teamwork to achieve and exceed targets. Other qualifications include:
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing business skills;
  • Exceptional listening, understanding, and responding skills with the ability to formulate insights and solutions around complex business problems;
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with attention to detail;
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize and transform strategy into operational excellence;
  • Able to travel on short to medium-term trips within Canada and abroad (up to 30% of the time).
