Launch of the 9th Edition of the National Student Paper Competition

Graduate students, do you have fresh ideas for improving the federal public service and service excellence for Canadians? Are you ready to contribute your ideas? The National Student Paper Competition held by the Canada School of Public Service (CSPS) in partnership with the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) and the Canadian Association of Programs in Public Administration (CAPPA) is your chance to be heard by some of the most senior leaders within the Federal Public Service!

If your paper advances to the finals, it will be posted on the CAPPA website, and the top five students will present their work to a panel of Deputy Ministers. This stage of the Competition offers your work a prestigious profile and makes it accessible to both public servants and the broader public.

The Grand Prize winner will receive an offer of paid work placement within the federal public service, a certificate of achievement from the President of the CSPS, an invitation to the 2022 IPAC National Conference, and an invitation to attend and present at the CSPS Manion Lecture.

To consult the winning and finalist papers from the previous editions, please consult the IPAC website.

Students interested in participating are invited to submit their paper before the February 21, 2022 deadline. For more information, please visit CSPS website for the latest competition guidelines.
